What Is Krav Max?

Krav Max is a shortened, more intense version of what we normally teach. We realize not everybody who wants to learn self-defense can make regular classes. It uses the same concept as the Red Cross and its First Aid Training. They took the bare minimum out of EMT training and put it into a shortened course. Maybe you’ve done one. CPR, the recovery position, and the Heimlich maneuver. It’s designed to keep someone alive until the professionals turn up. Of course, every year thousands of people are saved, worldwide, due to this training.

We did the same. We took the bare minimum out of our regular program and condensed it. This way, you can still get enough training and knowledge to keep you safe in an emergency, at least until the pros arrive. Does it work? Go check out Kelly Herron. She was attacked while out jogging. The attacker was a known sexual predator. Kelly had learned self-defense at work only a few weeks earlier and was able to fight him off. Not only did she defend herself but she was able to subdue her attacker.

Who’s It For?

People who are also highly motivated and driven. If you like Spartan races and GoRuck, you’ll love this. Transform from clueless to squared away in just 15 hours of hard-hitting, dynamic training at the Lake’s largest Krav Maga facility.

Unlike our regular classes, which you can join in any shape, Krav Max is different. We won’t have time to bring you up to speed like we normally do. So, it’s going to help if you’re already in reasonable shape. What does that mean? If you could do a Spartan Race, a six-hour GoRuck, handle Cross Fit, hike for a day, etc., you’ll be just fine.

Don’t get us wrong. You’ll still be a sore puppy by the time you get done on Sunday afternoon. But it will be that kind of sore, that, if you train hard, you know exactly what we’re talking about.

How Do I Join?

Email us or call and join the waiting list. We only do this twice a year and classes are limited to ensure the instructor student ratio gives you the most bang for your buck.
