All Krav Maga LKN instructors go through our intensive in-house training program. Unlike some organizations that think running students into the ground makes them teachers, we believe in actually teaching how to teach.
That means you learn faster and more effectively —because our instructors are trained in more than just techniques. We don’t rely on “learning by osmosis.” We build true educators.
Using proven adult learning and accelerated teaching methods, our instructor program includes training in ethics, motivational theory, learning styles, public speaking, classroom dynamics, and more. One attendee—a former school teacher—said he learned more about teaching in three days with us than during his entire four-year education degree.
Because if your instructor isn’t trained to teach, how effective can they really be?
Why do they call him that? He's 6'7" and 270lbs and a former Military Police Officer in the French Foreign Legion during his last year of service. When they were shooting the Reacher movies, there was actually a public campaign on Facebook to cast Nick as Reacher.
Nick is a former commando with the French Foreign Legion who worked throughout the world as a bodyguard after his military service. His clients have included members of the Saudi Royal family, VIPs, celebrities, rock stars, and businessmen.
He holds black belts in three styles of karate, as well as Judo, Japanese Ju-jutsu, and Aikido. As well as boxing professionally he also holds degrees in various Filipino martial art systems and taught unarmed combat in the Legion.
Several police and military units have hired him to teach dignitary protection, defensive tactics, and unarmed combat.
He speaks professionally to various groups on the subject of personal security, dealing with active shooters, and travel security for female executives.
He is the author of the Amazon bestseller "How To Be Your Own Bodyguard" which was also nominated for book of the year at the British Martial Arts Awards show. Paladin Press chose him as one of its featured instructors. He appeared on Spike TV's "Deadliest Warrior" as a subject matter expert and will soon release online courses based on his self-protection book and Warriors Krav Maga.
He is passionate about bringing out the best of his students by using accelerated learning, performance psychology, and adult learning techniques. He's never had a student lose a physical fight or a legal one.
Your Krav Maga LKN Instructors are broken into various categories. At the top are those qualified to teach all the way to module IV in the system. Below them are the assistant instructors who are paying their dues by teaching until they can undertake their next level.

Sara is a former Army medic who dabbled in BJJ and kickboxing before finding her way to Warriors Krav Maga.

Duke is a lifelong athlete who grew up playing football, wrestling, baseball, and Tae Kwan Do.
He got back into martial arts with his daughter Lilly while living in PA. After moving to NC he began with Warriors Krav.

Justin is another natural instructor.
He took to teaching like ducks take to water.
Unfortunately his job takes him on the road for many months every year but, when he's in town, he's in class, and usually leading the beginner's through their paces.
With his antecedents in traditional karate he makes everything look easy and he loves kicking.
Patty is a recent addition to the instructor ranks.
She's also one of our school's ambassadors and a testament to age is no barrier to training.
She recently achieved her black shirt which is the equivalent of a black belt in traditional martial arts.
It's always funny to see people quitting because they think it's too hard and then see Patty soldiering on in the background.
Dr. Eugene is our resident physician.
He originally took the teacher training program to make him a more successful communicator when training other doctors.
Now, he's often helping out on Sat mornings to make sure everyone has their techniques dialed in.
He's also a permanent addition anytime we run a test in case there's any issues. So far we've never needed his help, but it's comforting to know he's on hand.
